Sports massage combines faster-paced techniques with active stretching and focused work on the muscle groups your sport leans on hardest. Pre-event prepares muscles for load; post-event flushes metabolic byproducts and addresses tightness before it becomes a pattern.

What a session looks like

Three acts, roughly equal.

  1. Arrive

A brief check-in about what your body is asking for today. Water, warm room, pick a scent if you want one. 5 minutes.

  2. Session

The massage itself — pre- or post-activity focus on mobility, recovery, and range of motion. Pressure adjusts in real time. No talking required.

  3. Depart

A few minutes to come back to the room at your own pace. Water, dressing time, rebook if you want. Never rushed.

  • Pre-event or post-event?

Both, with different focuses. Book pre-event 2–3 days before; post-event within 72 hours.

  • Can you work around an injury?

Usually yes — flag it at intake. We'll avoid the acute area and work the supporting tissue.

  • Is there stretching?
